Why we started.
Signature Saunas was born not in a boardroom, but in the quiet heat of a sauna.
Founders Fraser Ablett & Chris Parr met through a shared commitment to performance, pushing their limits in the gym and finding recovery in the ritual of heat and cold. What started as conversations between sauna sessions quickly became something more; a shared vision to bring the powerful, transformative experience of contrast therapy into everyday life.
Through years of travel and exposure to wellness cultures around the world, we experienced first hand how deeply heat and cold can impact both body and mind. The clarity after the plunge. The calm after the heat. The resilience built in the space between discomfort and renewal. It wasn’t just recovery it was a lifestyle.
We realised that this level of wellness shouldn’t be reserved for luxury spas or elite athletes. It should exist at home. It should be part of daily living.
With Chris’s 15 years of expertise in premium outdoor design and construction, and Fraser’s decade spent in professional football coaching and elite performance environments, Signature Saunas brings together craftsmanship and true performance knowledge.
